PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICER, BENGUELA , ANGOLA.

GRADE 4, 20,072 pa, plus 2,535 pa additional food allowance. 10 MONTH CONTRACT.

Reporting to the Provincial Manager, you will give technical support and guidance to the provincial delegation of health to improve its ability to manage and deliver services in the municipalities and health facilities. You must have at least three years international experience in middle level management plus a relevant qualification in health and/or management. Previous overseas experience in a primary health care or teaching programme must be backed by relevant experience in working with counterparts in a government ministry, especially in health which would be a distinct advantage. You must have good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively share information and ideas both verbally and in writing with a variety of audiences and be able to demonstrate patience, resourcefulness, initiative and diplomacy in your approach. Other requirements would be commitment to capacity building and equal opportunities and fluency in Portuguese and English.
