PROGRAMME MANAGER, SOUTH SUDAN - Based in Lokichoggio

*22,065 pa (GBP) *12 month contract * Unaccompanied Status

 

As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the seeds, tools, fishing equipment and preventative health/shelter projects for the region. This is a critical post that will ensure the smooth running of field operations and the effective utilisation of programme resources. You will also play a key role within the Lokichoggio Management Team and will be given the opportunity to drive the development and direction of the programme strategy and to communicate the plan effectively to the operations team.

To succeed in this post you will require significant senior management experience and team management skills gained within a practical emergencies environment. You will be able to demonstrate experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of resources and have an understanding of how the use of resources impacts on communities and children. You will also possess significant experience in financial monitoring and reporting.

Equipped with strong communication/representational skills gained within an environment of community participation, you will posses the ability to work in a pressured, rapidly changing context and be able to display sensitivity to the cultural and military/political environment of South Sudan.
