APPLICATION PROCEDURES

 

A. APPLICATION MATERIALS

 

1. Please attach the following documents to your application:

  1. an official EPU application form (two-sided)
  2. a Curriculum Vitae
  3. photocopies of all required degrees and diplomas
  4. a TOEFL test document not older than one year (if your native language is not English, or if you have not studied at least for two semesters in English)
  5. an application essay of ca. 300 words, indicating your main fields of interest in the program, and how you hope to benefit from the program
  6. 4 passport size photos
  7. two letters of recommendation of individuals familiar with your academic / professional work, in sealed envelopes.

ALL APPLICATION MATERIALS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH in a typed format.

Please note that due to the relative short time for correspondence with the admitted students before the beginning of the semester, only the candidates will be seriously considered for the admission who are reachable by fax or e-mail.

The above requirements are valid to all applicants.

For special, additional application requirements and additional documents needed for those who also apply for Austrian Government scholarships, please, refer to the "Costs of Study and Financial Aid" information document.

Please note that applicants for a "Development Scholarship" of the Austrian Government are requested to send their scholarship request together with a copy of the EPU application materials to the closest Embassy of Austria, as well. The materials may also be sent to the closest Regional and Cooperation Bureau of the Republic of Austria. (A world-wide list of these Bureaus is available at the EPU Secretariat.)

B. APPLICATION DEADLINES

 

1. Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) Program (two semesters, Fall AND Spring semester)

Applications for the MAS program, starting in the Fall semester, should reach the EPU no later than May 15th. Students will be informed no later than June 15th whether they have been accepted to the MAS program. Tuition and accommodation fees must be paid before the start of the program for both semesters.

 

2. Certificate Program (one semester, Fall OR Spring semester)

Applications for the Fall semester should reach the EPU no later than May 15th, and for the Spring semester, no later than November 15th of the previous year. Students will be informed no later than June 15th respectively January 15th whether they have been accepted to the program. Tuition and accommodation fees must be paid before the start of the program.
